How to field dress a roe deer

There are several occasions where a quick field dress is the better option. Even with a perfectly placed shoulder shot it takes only 30-40 minutes before the gastrointestinal barrier breaks and harmful bacteria starts to spread within the meat. If the cooling chamber is an hour or more away Steffen Foullon recommends field dressing a deer on the spot. In this video Steffen will show you his tips when field dressing a roe deer.
